Mark and Tina started Christ for Humanity after going on vacation to the Copper Canyon Mountains. There they saw Indians living in caves without proper medical care and food. Their hearts were moved and just trying to be obedient Christians they began to look for a way to not only meet physical needs of the Indians, but also spiritual needs. From this response of Compassion CFH was formed. 

Camille Wellnitz, Chief Operating Officer

Camille has been with CFH since it was founded in 1992.  She has a true gift of encouragement to all the missionaries and ministries CFH serves through the world.  Camille has trekked into the mountains of Mexico, even taken a bush plane, just to encourage missionaries working among the un-reached Tepeuan Indians. Camille oversees the CFH office.

  Bob Ashinhurst , Local Outreach Director

Bob was saved in 1972, and surrendered to Ministry in 1990, answering a very clear and specific call to serve in supplying modern worship music.  God immediately began to keep him busy supplying music for bible studies and other Church events.

Church Planted Eastside Baptist Church Collinsville in 1991 as Music Minister, where he has been since that time. 

Vision for CFH:

To expand this ministry by filling the needs that still exist in several of the Tulsa Housing Authority projects.  Also, to continue to support the “First Steps” program and find creative ways to disciple and develop new believers.

Ronda Tyson, Global Missions Director

Ronda, after visiting The Gambia, West Africa was moved to challenge African Americans in being involved in missions back to Africa.  Her passion is to see the African American Church mobilized through all of Africa sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Whenever you meet Ronda you feel like you met an old friend.

Elena Gregg,  International Consultant to former Soviet Union & Russia  (Shipping)

Elena has been with Christ for Humanity almost since the beginning of the ministry. Elena and her husband, Steve lived in Russia for years working with CFH. Elena is in charge of our humanitarian Aid shipping and ministry to the Russian community.  Interesting fact: Elena is a Scientist ( Molecular Spectrospopist) * This is a person who studies how light interacts with any substance! Favorite Verse: Exodus: 33:13

Jan Hendrix- Office Manager

Jan, is serving the Lord & carrying on the ministry that Jim started 8 yrs ago. Jan's enjoys helping people, reading, fishing and golf.  She attends Lawnwood Free Will Baptist Church and her favorite Bible passage to live by is Psalms 23.

as our Warehouse manager. He is & will be missed greatly. 
 

 

Billy Dawson Warehouse Assistant

Billy serves with Bob in the CFH warehouse.  No job is too small for Billy.  He willing serves with all his heart to meet the needs of  the ministry of CFH. Interesting fact: Billy can add any number in his head no matter how big the numbers are... Favorite Verse: Matthew 7:1
