What is Christ for Humanity?
Purpose Statement
Christ for Humanity is a Christian humanitarian relief organization whose purpose is to glorify God by enabling the Church to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the needy and minister to the members of God’s family.
Our Mission
When people are cold, hungry, or in pain, the concept of a loving God is sometimes difficult to comprehend. Christ for Humanity’s goal is to provide Christian field workers with the means to meet physical needs as they glorify God’s name and spread the good news of Christ.
Our Approach to Ministry
Christ for Humanity’s approach to ministry can be summed up in James 2:14-16: “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothing or daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is that?”

Empowerment
Christ for Humanity provides three ways for Christians to impact the lives of the needy for Christ.
Giving
Christ for Humanity gives donated humanitarian aid free of charge to Christian ministries, missionaries, and healthcare professionals working with the poor in the United States and 50+ countries worldwide. We have provided millions of pounds of food, clothing, furniture, household items, and medical supplies since 1993.
Going
Christ for Humanity arranges short-term mission trips for Christians interested in going abroad to advance the Gospel. Specific mission trips may emphasize medical and dental opportunities, work programs, and/or evangelism.
Growing
Christ for Humanity offers churches, youth groups, organizations, and individuals, opportunities for growing God’s kingdom through local evangelism and discipleship ministries to the needy.
