What We Believe

As a Christian ministry, we have statements of faith that are summarized below.

The Bible

We believe that all scriptures (Old and New Testaments) are inerrant and inspired by God and have been given to us for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. It is our primary authority for everything pertaining to faith and life.

Triune God

We believe in one God in three distinct but equal persons: the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

God the Father

We believe God the Father is sovereign over all things. We believe He sent His Son and Spirit to accomplish His work of salvation, reconciling us to Him, and adopting us as His sons and daughters.

God the Son

We believe that God the Son became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin, and is wholly God and wholly man. We believe that Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous on the basis of His shed blood. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us as our high priest, intercessor, and advocate. Finally, we believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ in the glory of His Father to establish his earthly kingdom.

God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, possessing all of the distinct attributes of God. His function within the Godhead is to convict the world of sin and baptize believers into the body of Christ, indwelling the believer at regeneration, and sealing him permanently as a child of God.

Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God and that he sinned, resulting in physical and spiritual death. All human beings possess a sinful nature.

Salvation

We believe that whoever, by faith, receives Jesus Christ as his Savior becomes a child of God. This salvation is not the result of any human effort or merit but is given to man solely through the grace of God. We believe that all true believers are kept eternally secure by the power of God through the new birth, the indwelling and sealing of the Holy Spirit, and the intercession of Christ.

The Supernatural

We believe in the reality of the person of Satan. Christians can overcome Satan’s schemes by applying Scriptural truth.

Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men. Believers are resurrected to eternal life with God. Unbelievers are resurrected to judgment and eternal suffering apart from God.
